Copernicus' Brew It Yourself gingerale kit, a simple starter for making a lighter homemade ginger ale.
Price range: See on Amazon
What we liked
- + Brew It Yourself format keeps the process simple for curious beginners
- + Gingerale style is milder and more kid-friendly than strong ginger beer
- + Kit approach suits a fun one-off project or a gift
Trade-offs
- - Gingerale kits are a shortcut and do not give you a reusable culture
- - Novelty kit framing gives little detail on batch size or contents
