Kombucha & Drinks

Common questions

How long does kombucha take to ferment?

The first ferment usually takes about 7-14 days depending on temperature. Taste from day 7 and bottle when it balances sweet and tart.

Why is my kombucha not fizzy?

Common causes are too little sugar in the second ferment, cool temperatures or bottles that do not seal. Add a little fruit or sugar and keep bottles warm for a few days.
