What we liked
- + FoodSaver is the best-known home vacuum sealer brand, so rolls fit its machines
- + 11 in wide rolls make bags big enough for large vegetable portions
- + BPA-Free film suits acidic fermented foods
Trade-offs
- - Wider rolls use more film per bag than small ferments need
- - Brand-name rolls cost more than generic embossed rolls
