What we liked
- + Grains and equipment in one box: 1-quart jar, breathable cover, rubber band, pipette and mesh strainer.
- + Adds an adhesive temperature strip, jar marker and pH test strips.
- + Listing says the grains are certified organic and Kosher, with step by step instructions.
Trade-offs
- - A 1-quart jar makes a small batch, so heavy drinkers will want a larger one.
- - Costs more than buying grains alone, so it is best for newcomers without a jar and strainer.
