What we liked
- + Covers both brewing and bottling: six 16 oz swing top bottles, a funnel and strainer set and a bottle brush.
- + Built around the brand's 1-gallon kombucha brewing kit, with the culture and equipment listed as included.
- + Stainless steel funnel and strainer set helps with bottling and straining.
Trade-offs
- - Priced well above basic starter kits, and it has no heating mat like the kit it replaces.
- - Swing top bottles are 16 oz each, so a gallon batch needs more bottles than the six included.
